Card Derby is a digital take on Horse Race, a traditional card game usually
played with a physical deck and no board — the deck itself lays out the
track. This version keeps the original rules, including the backward
"kickback" twist, and adds a 3D scene so you can watch the race play out.
Setup. The four Aces are pulled out to be the horses, one per suit. The rest of the deck lays out the track: 7 links.
Flip. Flip a card from the deck. Whichever suit comes up, that horse moves forward one link.
The kickback. Every link is hiding a leftover card of its own. The first time all four horses have cleared a link, that link's card flips too — and sends the matching suit back one link.
Win. First horse to cross link 7 wins. The race keeps going so every horse finishes — once 3rd place is decided, 4th is waved across to wrap it up and you get the full 1st–4th results.
